Addressing the grade before completing other landscaping or construction projects, such as adding a garage, shed, or an addition, can help prevent problems down the road.
In many cases, yes. Uneven terrain can make mowing and maintaining a lawn difficult. In addition, it can also create drainage problems, not immediately, but over time. Depending on the property, grading, leveling, filling, or reshaping portions of the yard may help create a more functional and manageable space. If the grade is steep or pitched, we may discuss other options such as retaining walls, slope stabilization, bench grading, terraced grading, or cut & fill grading, to name some options.
